The Maze is a slum in Easthaven that derives its name from the ever-evolving nature of its buildings. Poorly built and maintained shacks and flathouses are continuously built and destroyed, making it difficult for even its long-time residents to navigate it. It is even more dangerous at night, as it is the only district that is not lit with alchemical lamps. This poses a problem for the local law enforcement, generally staying out of the district unless they enter in force.
As a result, much of Easthaven's criminal element call The Maze home.
